Product Description

The cannabinoids are absorbed directly into the skin for more focused therapeutic effects. Ideal for localized pain and inflammation with no psychoactive effects.

Newer patients and those with a low THC tolerance can apply topicals with confidence. Patients are recommended to initiate treatment on the evening of Day 1 with 1 – 3 topical applications of a small amount cream. After 45 min – 1 hour, patients reassess symptoms.

If symptoms have improved or subsided, no additional applications are needed and patients can apply topical as needed.

Elara® is contraindicated in patients:

• with hypersensitivity to cannabinoids (e.g., THC or CBD) or to any of the inert ingredients in Elara®;
• with a significant history of cardiovascular disease;
• with an active or previous psychotic or active mood or anxiety disorder; and
• who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
