Sunset Sherbet

About

Sunset Sherbet Marijuana Strain Sunset Sherbet is an indica dominant hybrid strain with 85% indica and 15% sativa. It is derived from the popular Girl Scout Cookies, the beautiful indica strain Pink Panties and the delicious Blackberry Kush.

The THC content of this strain ranges between 18-23% making this a decently potent strain. For new patients, the effects of this strain may be over powering, but it is something that you can easily get used to with time. Fortunately this is a flavorful strain that will appeal to new users as well. Actually the name Sherbet originated from the tasteful desert called sherbet. When you open a jar of Sunset Sherbet buds, you will be greeted with a delectable whiff of bubblegum with slight hints of blueberries. The taste is sweet on the tongue and leaves a sugary after taste. The buds are a mix of yellow and neon green with long and beautiful orange pistils. The buds are densely coated with milky trichomes that glow under sunrays. Typical to most indica strains these plants are medium in height, bushy and produce a high yield.

This strain is ideal for social settings because it promotes talkativeness without being overwhelming. It can also be your go to strain when you need to engage in creative projects that require you to abscond from your in-the-box thinking. It best works as an evening strain.

Origin

Sunset Sherbet is a hybrid strain that is a cross between Girl Scout Cookies, Blackberry Kush and Pink Panties. It also draws its ancestry from Durban Poison, Cherry Pie and OG Kush, all of which are potent cannabis strains.

Effects

Sunset Sherbet gives a sativa like high that is both uplifting and energizing. The high is however moderate and most patients are able to contain and blossom with the effects which include increased focus, creativity and inspiration. The body high is also very relaxing but will not cause a couch-lock effect. This works well to de-stress the body and promote a general goodness feeling. A calmness that starts in the mind and transcends slowly to the limbs without being overbearing is the epitome of Sunset Sherbet.

Sunset Sherbet may make you more giggly and talkative than usual. If you are taking it on a working day, you can let your boss know that you are on medication. Fortunately, the effects will not floor you so you will still be able to keep up with your obligations as usual. On the positive side, if you are usually reserved, your workmates may just get to see the better side of you.

  • Amazing for pain!!! I cannot say it enough! I have a rare Neuro immunological disease that causes sooo many issues from pain to anxiety to neuropathy and balance issues.. This is my all around favorite!!! If you smoke normal amounts you get the Euphoric effects. But you don't need to if you don't want to and it will still help with back pain, headaches, RLS, muscle /muscle skeletal pain, neuropathy, etc! I can function normal on this and can sleep if I smoke normal amounts. (I don't smoke much yet ????) I have tried a variety and this is my go to! I wish they carried it more! It's been out of stock for weeks :/

  • I reallly like this strain. Got it at Trulieve. Although most Sherbert is sativa dominant, this phenotype is a nice Indica dominant hybrid. I use it as my early evening dose. Trying to treat severe insomnia, this is one of my weapons.
