Paradise Waits

About

Paradise Waits is a Sativa dominant hybrid strain that is a cross between Scarlet Fire and the popular Harlequin strain. The breeders are Scarlet Fire Farms.

Paradise Waits is a very aesthetic strain; with amber gold and purple hues mixing with earthy green on the buds. The buds are further decked with silvery sticky resin glands that milky white during the flowering stage.

The scent is a mix of pine and citrus with slight undertones of sweet mango. The flavor that first hits your taste buds is musky but it quickly changes to a creamy taste that lingers on the palate after the exhale. The smoke is pretty smooth and is bound to be well tolerated by new patients.

This strain settles in the brain quite fast and pushes out anxious thoughts that may be clouding the mind. This is a good opportunity for those who have been struggling with brain fog to catch a break. The clear-headedness also comes with deep relaxation which later settles into a deep sleep.

Some users have reported an extremely powerful cerebral buzz after taking this strain. The THC levels may be as high as 30%. Compared to most cannabis strains, this is quite a high amount of THC. The euphoria is fast-acting and gives a spacey experience, especially for new users. Surprisingly, it has been used to treat anxiety in patients with anxiety disorders.

Patients have also used this strain to treat chronic pain that is otherwise difficult to treat.

Paradise Waits buds are small and spherical with a forest green color. The orange pistils are tall and slender; they can be spotted rising visibly on the leaves.

Terpenes

Terpene Profile
The predominant scents in this strain are pine and citrus. The scent of a cannabis strain is reflective of the aromatic oils in the strain: terpenes.

If you purchase a pure CBD or THC isolate, you will be getting high amounts of the specific cannabinoids. However, you will be missing out on terpenes which are usually incorporated into full-spectrum cannabis compounds.

Terpenes facilitate the synergistic effect when combined with cannabinoids. When this happens you expect to see the benefits of the cannabinoids lasting for longer.

Pinene is also found in pine trees. It offers the following benefits:
– Gastroprotective
– Bronchodilation to facilitate air supply to the lungs
– Anti-inflammatory
– Antiproliferative
– Antioxidant

Limonene has the smell of fresh citrus fruits. It has the following benefits:
– Anti-stress
– Anti-anxiety
– Suppresses appetite
– Anti-cancer effects
– Heart protective benefits
